The CFD Group LLP is run by Andrew Collins, who trained as a financial analyst and managed money in the City of London for over 10 years.

The company came about with the vision of providing a core activity of advising clients on CFD Trading with a particular focus on FTSE100 stocks where we feel there is ample opportunity to trade profitability whilst maintaining a suitable risk profile.

A number of companies provide CFD Advisory services and what we want to do is provide a more private client attitude to our clients’ funds with a focus on achieving respectable returns without taking risks that could result in the elimination of your initial capital. We do not make promises about returns and CFDs are a high risk derivative, but we feel that by taking a sensible approach to how your funds are invested in the market, using CFDs can result in a good return without taking on a massive level of risk. We do not approach trading with a maximum risk maximum return approach.

There are other companies that are geared to this form of trading. What we will do is try and help you to achieve a return that beats the market and enables you to continue trading year after year. What we will not do is blast you with hundreds of trading ideas which at the end of the day generates a lot of commission and may well leave you with a lot less money than you started with. Whilst we do not get it right every time we believe that over time if you adopt our simple approach to trading you will achieve a respectable return and enjoy trading.

Andrew Collins is responsible for our research and has the knowledge and expertise to provide trading recommendations. He worked as a graduate trainee at private client brokerage, Gerrard, before moving to the private client and charities section where he was responsible for managing £200m. Andrew has a host of qualifications to his name and is an Associate Member of the Society of Investment Professionals having passed all of the Associate Examinations for what was called the Institute for Investment Management and Research and which is now part of the CFA(Chartered Financial Analyst) Institute. We believe that advisory CFD trading does need someone with the experience and qualifications that Andrew has and we believe this is unmatched at any of the other CFD Advisory brokerages.
